Before 2005, the wide belt sanders in china are mainly calibrating sanders, the sanding units are mainly sanding roller units and sanding pad units. The sanding pad is solid pad, not segmented pad. The configuration is basically single belt roller type, twin-belt roller and pad type, three belt roller roller roller type or roller roller pad type. Also, some factories in china build double surface sanding units in a single body, the sanding units are similar with above mentioned.
On this year, the china factory Qingdao Giantway Machinery Co., ltd. ( formerly known as Qingdao JCH woodworking machinery co., ltd) firstly start to build brush sanding machines because on this time the china real estate industry is going to raise. Qingdao Giantway brush sander rapidly dominate the market on wood doors and cabinets making industry. Under his influence, in Qingdao city, many factories start to build brush sanding machine.
The furniture making industry was booming around 2010, the market needs high efficiency tools. More and more people would like to integrate planing and sanding in a single machine, so planer sander begin to be built in china. About 2015, the separate top sander and bottom sander start to meet the market request because the single body double surface sander can not reach the desired working precision for furniture making. Later, Giantway added auto loading and unloading machine on the line, this way has continued until now.
Around 2020, the high-end custom furniture require more advanced sanding machine on the veneer surface or lacquer surface. Qingdao Giantway Machinery Co., Ltd. launched electromagnetic piano sander, this kind of machine can give a super fine surface on veneer or lacquer surface, after top coating, the panel surface would be mirror finishing.
Since 2020, the big sanding machine factories focused on piano sanders, some factories make pneumatic piano sander, few factories like Giantway to make electromagnetic piano sanders. Until now, Qingdao Giantway has had tens configuration of piano sanders.
