Today, I would like to give you an overview of our SGJ series wide belt sander. Giantway started manufacturing this type of machine in 1997, and it has been over 25 years of continuous development and improvement. Thanks to its stable performance and reliable structure, the SGJ series has been widely recognized as one of the most popular machines for wood calibration and sanding.
This machine is configured with two working units. The first working unit is a steel sanding roller, complete with a tension system, oscillation system, and safety system. It is mainly used for calibrating and rough sanding.
The second working unit is a combination head, equipped with a rubber roller and a platen, designed for finishing sanding. This working unit is also complete with a tension system, oscillation system, and safety system to ensure stable and precise sanding results.
At the front of the machine is the control panel. Operators can easily turn each working unit on or off through this panel. Each main motor is equipped with an amperage meter, allowing operators to monitor the electric current during operation and avoid machine overload.
The feeding table can be lifted or lowered using the control buttons, and the same adjustment can also be made through the micro thickness controller. Feeding start and stop are controlled by a dedicated button, while the feeding speed can be smoothly adjusted by rotating the speed control knob.
