We are Giantway, a professional sanding machine manufacturer and sanding solution supplier. Today, we are pleased to introduce our SGJ Series Wide Belt Sander, a machine series that has been continuously produced and upgraded for over 25 years.
The SGJ series is one of our most popular and mature sanding machines. With dozens of technology upgrades over the years, this classic square-frame machine continues to perform reliably in modern production lines.
At the front of the machine, a clear control panel is equipped with start and stop buttons featuring indicator lights. When a working unit is activated, the indicator light turns on, providing a clear visual reminder of the machine’s operating status for improved safety.
The thickness controller is manufactured in Taiwan under the TECK brand, offering accurate measurement, stable performance, and long service life.
The feed table is welded with heavy-duty steel plates and precision-machined to achieve a mirror-like surface finish. Combined with a high-quality rubber conveyor belt, it ensures excellent feeding accuracy and workpiece stability.
Inside the machine, the SGJ series is configured with three working units: two sanding roller heads and one combination head.
The two sanding rollers have a diameter of 240 mm and are equipped with eccentric shafts, allowing operators to micro-adjust roller positions easily and accurately. Both the inner and outer roller surfaces are CNC-machined and dynamically balanced for stable operation.
The combination head consists of a 210 mm diameter rubber roller and a sanding pad. The sanding pad adopts a dovetail design, making it easy to pull out or push in according to different sanding requirements.
The belt tension beam is welded from manganese steel, commonly used in engineering machinery. With a tension cylinder size of 90 × 50 mm, this heavy-duty design guarantees smooth belt oscillation and stable tension control.
The press system adopts a double press roller structure. Each press roller has a diameter of 70 mm, firmly holding workpieces on the conveyor belt. The cast-steel press holders are reasonably designed and easy to adjust.
At the outfeed end, an inverter motor combined with a helical gear reducer provides stable torque output regardless of speed changes. This continuous and stable power output is an important factor in achieving high sanding accuracy.
A brushing unit is installed at the outfeed section, with an additional press roller beneath the brushing cover to ensure smooth and stable panel discharge after sanding.
