Today, I would like to present an overview of our upgraded Planer Sander. This machine is designed for both cutting and sanding, making it ideal for heavy calibration of glued panels, solid wood panels, and bamboo panels, with material removal over 2 mm and fine sanding up to grit 180 in a single pass.
This planer sander features a fixed working table, ensuring a constant pass line while all working units move up and down. This design is particularly suitable for production lines and is often connected with a bottom planer sander to form a high-efficiency sanding line.
The first working unit is a planer knife head capable of removing up to 2 mm in one pass. It can be lifted or stopped via the touch screen, allowing flexible use of sanding units only. A complete safety and press system, including anti-kickback fingers, segmented press shoes, and double press rollers, ensures stable and safe processing.
The second working unit is a steel calibrating roller equipped with pneumatic lifting, oscillation, safety, and dust collection systems. Manual and automatic adjustment mechanisms help prevent over-sanding, especially on panel edges.
The third working unit is a combination head with a rubber sanding roller and sanding pad, featuring both automatic lifting and manual adjustment for precise finishing.
A built-in cleaning brush at the rear of the machine removes sanding dust from panels. The touch screen control panel allows operators to easily manage each working unit and set the desired feeding speed through an intuitive interface.
